Activity Description:

On July 12, we conducted a dissemination activity for the "Green Plan to Plant" project, which was initially held in Greece from June 30 to July 6. This event took place in Câmpulung Moldovenesc, Romania, and was attended by more than 20 young individuals between the ages of 15 and 20.

The primary focus of this dissemination was to engage youth from rural areas, disadvantaged backgrounds, and the Roma minority communities. The session began with participants working in teams to address current societal issues related to sustainability, the environment, and youth involvement in community activities.

Following the group work, we held an informational session on sustainability, green energy, biodiversity, and environmental protection. We also discussed local opportunities provided by NGOs through volunteer work.

Key Insights:

During the activity, it became evident that environmental issues are already in a very advanced state. Moving forward, we must adapt to new environmental and climatic changes. Despite these challenges, it is up to us, the youth and future leaders, to minimize the negative impact of climate change as much as possible.
